Please help to identify this implant

hi all,

The patient placed the implant in London about 15-20 years ago, the crown is cemented, i drilled through the crown and unscrewed the abutment with a nobel screwdriver.

The implant platform is purple anodize, internal hex.

I looked into Nobel catalog but could not find a similar type of implant

my implant direct legacy implants 5.0 and 4.7mm are purple inside. this system is a biohorizon/zest copy cat. but i doubt your is implant direct legacy. but u look up implant direct catalog and search up platform size for 4.7 and 5mm legacy implants. then try that impression copings to see if it fit.

nobel abutment driver just tells you the abutment screw size is hex 1.25. Lots of abutment screws of different brands use hex 1.25 abutment screws. that alone does not indicate implant brand.

are you redo the crown and looking for a transfer/coping?

good luck.

Thank you for your help.

Im trying to redo the crown and need a scan abutment or any type of transfers.

Is there anything compatible with legacy implant systems?

If it is not a Zimmer TSV then it is a clone of one. ZimVie, formerly Zimmer, makes a 4.5mm diameter platform which is a purple color. I have been a Zimmer user for over 15 years now and if indeed it is a true Zimmer product and not some cheap clone then you, and the patient, will be much better off if you splurge and restore it with OEM parts. Zimmer has an additional internal friction fit that the cheap clones fail to incorporate in their components.
