Not enough space between tooth and implant for another implant?

This is the second time I have encountered this and it seems like it could be relatively common. What would you guys do in this scenario? With the implant at 13, i dont have 3mm of space between proposed implant 12 and existing implant 13. If i were to place it, I would be afraid of interproximal bone loss, especiallyat the crestal portion.

What are your thoughts, alternatives, options for this patient? Thank you!

Yellow guidelines is 1.5mm

Either a cantilever or a ZimVie Eztetic 2.9mm platform fixture. I don’t have any reservations about doing a premolar mesial cantilever off of an implant so that would be my first choice.

You can use BioMiniature implant if available.

Or something like that!!!

I just went to the website for BioMinature and while I was able to see the product I was not able to find any surgical/placement instruments. I assume that you are the founder of the company so perhaps you can help me out. I have been searching now for quite a while for a mini implant with restorative options and this might be just what I was looking for to fill this void.

Yes, that’s exactly what is for. Filling the gap for many situations like what you are facing.
There is one simple kit for all surgical, guided surgery and prosthetic tools.
I have restored over 100 full arches using BioMiniatures with great success.

In my opinion, cantilever distally is asking for problems. I’d like to see how a 3mm diameter implant fits the space.
