Miniature Implants to Restore a Full Arch

Miniature Implants are ultra narrow diameter implants which can be inserted using minimally invasive surgery similar to mini implants. However, due to their unique form, they can be restored with a fixed screw retention prosthesis.

Their use for full arch rehabilitation is easy, affordable, significantly less traumatic and almost eliminates the need for extensive bone augmentation procedures.

Personally I wouldn’t want mini implants in the maxilla. Too little surface area. I’ve removed so many of them. I’ve seen 1 successful case in 22 years. The fact you splinted them is great yet I wonder why not manipulate the bone so you could place small diameter standard implants?

Does anyone recommend using bacon implants instead? Much wider implants placed 3 mm subcrestally.
