It’s easy to add your comment or reply to an already existing private topic. Assuming, you are a member of the private group, simply go to the private topic and hit the Reply button. Note that there will be a “lock” icon for any topic that is private and the topic will be shown in the reply box. If you see the lock, you know you are replying to a private topic.
